1 Beaujolais is a classicly handsome 2-year-old Rat Terrier.
2 He is 14" tall and 14 lbs. He could stand to gain another pound or two so we're working on that.
3 He was turned in to the shelter (when his owners decided to move to a no-pets apartment) with his mate and their 5-month-old pup.
4 The shelter thought Beau was too timid to be adopted, but we think they were nuts. He is sensibly cautious, especially around children, but he will warm up to adults and seek out pats and hugs.
5 Once he trusts you, he is an incredible cuddle bug... a real velcro dog who will be right there in your lap whenever you'll let him.
6 He enjoys being outside but really wants to have his people near him.
7 He is not shy about seeking pats from his loved ones.
