1 This is Bangles.
2 She is 8-9 years old and weighs 16 lbs.
3 Bangles's front left leg is deformed from a bad break in her past that was left to heal without treatment. Although it's very bent, it doesn't seem to bother her other than making her waddle when she walks. She bears her full weight on it, goes up and down stairs fine, and jumps onto and off of the couch. The vet says it would not be advisable to try to fix.

6 She has huge eyes, and although we had initially wondered about glaucoma or another condition, the vet's assessment is that she is simply blessed with unusually big, beautiful eyes.
7 Bangles was also found to have a mammary tumor and an enlarged heart in addition to dental disease.
8 Her ears are usually down or back, but when she is alert to something, they come out like angel wings. We think she is a little hard of hearing but is definitely not deaf.
9 Bangles's dental disease was very severe, and she had to have 5 teeth pulled. But everything was otherwise cleaned up. She is now so much more comfortable!
10 Once around the block is too far for Bangles to walk comfortably, but she would seem so sad when we would take the other dogs on a walk that I rigged up a Bangles-mobile so that she can go, too!
