Say hello to Abigail!
Enlarge photo 22
She is a 5-year old, 14 lb. Jack Russell Terrier (maybe with just a splash of Rat Terrier).
Enlarge photo 33
She is moderately active but not at all hyper.
Enlarge photo 44
In fact, she is often a downright snugglebug.
Enlarge photo 55
She is reliably housetrained.
Enlarge photo 66
And she is a pro at using the doggie door.
Enlarge photo 77
She isn't a fan of cold, wet weather, though, and can use a little persuasion to go outside on cold or rainy days.
Enlarge photo 88
Abigail does like to explore outside when it's sunny and warm, and she will patrol the yard, investigating all the smells.
Enlarge photo 99
She gets along very well with most other dogs after proper introductions.

She can act a bit bossy with other dogs at times, though, particularly when the household energy level is high, such as when visitors first come over. Then she feels the need to keep the other dogs in line and may nip or air snap at them in her excitement, but doesn't try to escalate conflict.

She likes to sit on laps and snuggle with her people.

I love the shape of her eyebrows... makes her look as though she is always wondering or concerned about something.
Enlarge photo 1313
While Abigail can certainly be an active girl, when the household energy is low she is content to just laze around. She has good house manners and doesn't get into things she shouldn't.

Waiting for someone to pay her some attention.
Enlarge photo 1515
She is generally very quiet in the house, except when the doorbell rings since that signals new people to greet.
Enlarge photo 1616
She will sit nicely for treats or her dinner.

Do you have an open lap for Abigail?
