Perhaps Hope's biggest sporting event ever held at the HSS field. Over 20 members each for the Yale and Hope teams — and that many spectators again.
Yale won the big cup — and Hope's keeper Don Wiens won the Golden Boot, for his memorable performance in net. Yale was so appreciative of his goaltending skills that they invited him to stand with them for their victory photo!
Final score, 10-5 or 9-5 for Yale... depending on who you ask. Decisive anyway.
