After over a year in the planning stages, it finally happened!

What an amazing coming together of: people with the vision and determination; people with skills or at least a willing spirit; people with food and drink; people with sand and soil — and the trucks to haul it; and people with the necessary tools and machinery.

Thanks to all who helped — and a special thanks to Kevin Chisholm for his outstanding leadership and commitment on this project.

•••

The deep tine aerating and reseeding was done by a contractor, FarmTek of Langley on Friday, July 10. (Moist soil was a problem earlier in the week.)
