E-5 and 50-200 swd. Testing C-AF and S-AF with shutter priority ON. Center diamond focus pattern.
All shots uncropped and only slightly sharpened. No other adjustments.
Looks like C-AF did better. The S-AF can totally miss the intended target and go for the background.
AF practice was to half-press lock on for a few seconds before firing. C-AF seemed quicker to get to the 'beep.' Sometimes the S-AF hadn't confirmed, when it was time to shoot. OOF! |
