A pretty even match-up. This team has a pretty similar record to ours (see http://www.asamsl.com/). We had 3 subs and did a good job of rolling them in. I believe everybody had a short shift or two on the sidelines (other than Kyle, who did good work in net.) Regulars: Bruce, Brian, Jon and Daniel were missing.
Josh got the first goal (3rd of the year), about 25 minutes in... assist to Hanway from his hard low cross. Abby countered right away, then again shortly after.
In the 2nd half, Josh drew a penalty shot on a hard tackle in the box. (Josh and the other guy got yellow cards for the jawing they were doing.) David struck a nice penalty shot to make it 2-2.
Abby pulled ahead 3-2, then Garry got a red card for bringing down a breaking ball carrier. Ouch!
But, we actually rebounded with some frantic effort and had good chances to tie it. We ran out of time and lost 3-2.
