MudholeLossToKenroc
We actually played one of our better games but their best scorers were able to stay on their feet — make a move, despite the mud — and get a shot off.
We were making passes, playing the triangles and controlling the ball for 4-5 pass sequences.
But: only a few shots at their keeper, Kris.
New player, Jeremy Smith, was a big help in midfield, settling things down. He got a good shot on Kris, though it was from a tight angle.
Game called before full time, due to muddy field conditions. It started under light rain, then got colder, windier and wetter as the game went on.
6-0 Kenroc win.
Yellow card to Kyle for sliding into a Ken Roc breakaway. The ball had been booted forward and Kyle said he judged the path... then the ball slowed suddenly, which threw off Kyle's timing for the out-of-box slide. The Kenroc player was hardly touched but he had to leap over Kyle to avoid the hit. (That may be Kyle's first-ever card in this league.)
