1930 Oahu Square Neck Acoustic Guitar (October 5, 2022)Nice original condition all wood guitar made for Oahu Publishing Co (possibly Harmony or Regal, both out of Chicago). Upgraded the nut to bone instead of plastic (previous owner put that on, so not original). Top is birch. Back, sides and neck mahogany. Top is ladder braced, which is often unstable in a square neck configuration. I installed a Bridge Doctor internal brace that takes a lot of stress off the bridge. Original Saf-Te-Strings 3 on a plate tuners that work sell. Original case. I purchased it a the iconic Bernunzio Music in Rochester NY so that's why the sticker. Beautiful tone. No cracks or repairs. Extimates Insurance Value $400 |

1925 Washburn Lyon-Healy Plectrum Banjo (September 29, 2022)Rare and very nice condition 22 fret Washburn Lyon-Healy plectrum. The Vega style armrest is not original, but the rare Kerschner Unique Lyon-Healy tailpiece. The unique tension hoop is a Van Eps design, seen on quality banjos of the time. There is some minor damage to some of the veneer on the rim inside the pot. I had a missing inlay from the 20th fret replaced and a tiny piece that was missing from part of the inlay at the 17th fret replaced. Original case in good shape with the Washburn logo emblem in the inside lid. The cover to the pick pocket has pulled loose from the hinge-very common for a case this age. Other than that, and the newer Renaissance head and Mike Keys bridge, it's all original. The frets appear to be original and in nearly unplayed shape. Estimated insurance value:$1300 |
