Note the oval-buckle sling, correct for an M91.  Also note the rounded wartime finger-jointed stock splice.  Post-war stocks have either pointed or quare splice fingers.

Note that on this particular M91, the floorplate is scrubbed and un-numbered.  Sometimes they are renumbered matching or left mismatched.  There is alot of variation on Finn M91's.

Here we see the Tikka factory marking, the serial number, the manufacture date of 1941 and the D marking indicating a chamber able to use the D166 7.62x53R round.

Here we see the AZF Austrian capture marking and Tsarist property stamp in the form of a double headed eagle - both from former owners of the receiver.

View of the bolt serial number.  This new serial number was applied to the bolt when the Finns assembled this rifle in 1941.

The cocking piece was manufactured by Sestroryetsk.

Note the Finnish stock maker's cartouch comprised of a crossed cannons logo.  The round plug was added during manufacture to patch a knot in the stock wood.
