My oh my what a find! If you have been wanting a Wendy Gell Wizard of Oz brooch collection, this is a wonderful start. These pieces are all in near mint condition, since I never consider any vintage item mint. I can honestly say I do not believe any of these figurals were ever adorned. In this collection is a wonderful Dorothy holding Toto and a basket, no enamel wear whatsoever! Then there is Glenda the beautiful good witch, adorned with pink rhinestones, the scarecrow and cowardly lion. Wendy also made some phases brooches, which were used in the Wizard of Oz movie. I also have two of the, including Dorothy's famous phase "OH MY!" and a "Good Witch" pin. The OH MY! is made with prong set clear rhinestones and the GOOD WITCH is made with sparkling iridescent rhinestone that have sparkling pink color tones.
