Health of the Rat Terrier
Rat terriers are a fairly healthy breed. But please do your research. Always keep in mind there is not perfect dog. When breeding animals their is always chances of a new discovery of a undesired trait/gene. A good breeder will do their best to set their pups up for the healthiest life.
Some health issues can be environmental, which breeders have no control over once they leave.
No good breeder wants to create a unhealthy pet. We love and put our soul into each pup that passes through our home.
Unfortunately we don’t have control of hidden genes that crop up now and then, nor birth defects
