ANSWER: COULD BE HASKELL
Just wanted to show this little brooch. It's a sewn brooch with plastic back. I supposed this was somewhere in the 1950s?

"The floral bouquet looks homemade from attractive scraps." --Tracy Green, 12/22/08
"Some people believe this is WWII Meriam Haskell unsigned. The back and the findings are consistent with the Haskell in Cathy Gordon's book on Haskell." --Cynthia, 12/23/08
"I'm sure that someone has mentioned the similarity in construction to Haskell. Not that I know much about Haskell and have no idea whether this is one of her's or a look-alike. Cathy's pages might be helpful." --Mary in England, 12/24/08
"Yes, Susan Corwin pointed out that the sewed back brooch is most probably early unsigned Haskell. I was thrilled. I looked at the pages and it is indeed the construction of those WWII brooches made by Haskell. So, with that I believe I found my second Haskell. I thought it seemed special when I picked it up off the open shelf in a little antique store. Thanks for your comment." --Cynthia Fore Miller, 12/24/08
