ANSWER: PHOTO OF GLASS CUFF LINKS I have had those faces that were glass on unsigned jewelry. I know they were glass because they were cold to the touch and one that had come off had a tiny chip. So, (if not Selro) who used them? Dotty Stringfield (photo of cuff links with glass faces courtesy of Cheryl Killmer) "I have no idea who used them. I suspect they are newer because they always appear to have just come straight out of the molds. :-/" --Kathie Davis, 01/03/09 "One of the bracelets I had, had light green glass faces, and the chunky bracelet they were on was definitely 1950's era." --Dotty Stringfield, 01/03/09 "All the Selro that has come my way have had the plastic faces. Interesting that your older piece had glass ones." --Jan Gaughan, 01/03/09 "Another question. Could Selenger have used glass faces at some point in time it that's what was available to him. We've seen such in the past with other jewelry makers." --Dotty Stringfield, 01/03/09 "The pair of unsigned cuff links above looks to me to be Selro or Selini. The faces are a deeper green than shown and are glass. I have also had a bracelet with black glass faces but also unsigned." --Cheryl Killmer, 01/03/09 | |
