Has anyone seen this earring attachment? The earring backs are even marked left and right. It's a pair of gorgeous baroque earrings with a very unusual back and marks all up and down the stem in the back. It is so tiny, though, I can't read it even with a 20x loupe.

"Your earrings are called wingbacks and were designed to fit on the lower ear. I believe they were patented in 1947 and various companies used them. Here is a copy of an ad from Morning Glory Antiques:
