ANSWER: CONTEMPORARY DESIGNERS - SEE COMMENTS BELOW

I have been asked by a customer about a jewelry maker that I have never heard of. Evidently he has been in business for quite a while, and still is. His name is Erickson Beamon. I didn't learn much from Google. Anybody familiar with him?

"Erickson Beamon is actually two women (using there last names ) that have a jewelry line that is being sold at Target right now, you can view it at Targets website www.Target.com Go women's, then jewelry, the show all, and the collection will be near the top of the list. I have seen the jewelry and it looks nice but is not that well made. These ladies have been designing jewelry for 20 years." --Dan Day, 04/10/09
"It is not a man, but rather the two last names of the owners. There are/were 3 partners, a brother and sister Karen and Eric Erickson and Vicky Beamon. I only met Eric personally. Gorgeous stuff. They have a website but that Flash loading drives me crazy: http://www.ericksonbeamon.com/ They are designing or have designed a line for Target recently. This is their online venue for the high end stuff: http://www.net-a-porter.com/Shop/Designers/Erickson_Beamon The Target line is not so well made as in the cuff it seems the ornament has a tendency to fall out. But their 80's stuff was gorgeous, well made and very pricey, sold only at Bloomingdale's and Saks to name a couple. Back then every piece was handcrafted in-house, in New York City. I clearly remember a style of multiple strands of clear crystals strung on white suede, the suede ends would drop from the sides of the beads. I thought it was soooo extravagant." --Vera Battemarco, 04/10/09
