ANSWER: 1950S-60S
I don't know when these shell cameos were made and it would be a great help if I did. The demi is Sterling probably vermeil; signed Birks with initials of the same person on all pieces. Although they're definitely a set the cameos are very different as you can see.

"Hi Nicole, yes vintage, no antique. not really too old, mid 1900's but very pretty. Birks, Im sure you know is a Canadian jewelry store. There is a little bit of history on their web site towards the bottom. They also do have a neat section here: http://tinyurl.com/5o2w79 in their "Learning Lounge"." --Carolyn Sunday, 12/12/08
"Those are lovely cameos..and in MHO you can call them Victorian. Probably dates of therein sometime of 1900s-1920s. You can also a lot of times in quality cameos get an idea of age by their nose styles..sharp Roman noses are generally earlier, 1800s, whereas the slightly turned up nose, is generally the Victorian era. BIRKS was well known for it's lovely Deco sterling ring boxes of that time, too. Hold the cameos up to the light to look for stress fractures and the like...this does lessen value. A light dabbing of baby oil on them occasionally is good, as they are shell, and will dry out and become brittle." --Robin Miller, 12/12/08
"The First Cameo looks to be about 1950s with the enhancer hook for wearing on a necklace. Second set is most likely late 1950s early 1960s." --Sam Mitchell, 12/12/08
