ANSWER: POSSIBLE AKSEL HOLMAN - SCANDINAVIAN I have a beautiful old brooch I found in London years ago at a flea market, and I'm almost positive that before I left, the woman told me first it was French enamel, and then that it was Russian, so I discount her history of it completely. I have some Norwegian enamel, signed, and I can't tell it this mark is the same or not. Deborah Ahrendt "It's a lovely piece Deb. I believe the "S" after 925 means it's Scandinavian. I don't know Swedish, Norwegian, etc. Not my thing." --Robin Deutsch, 05/03/09 "I think your gorgeous brooch is a very special Aksel Holmsen. Please
compare the signature before the 925 to this one:

Isn't that the same symbols? And there is the S too." --Vera Battemarco, 05/03/09 "Found the mark identical to yours. This is a great site for Silver marks
