I was station in Wildflecken with B-1-1(B Battery 1st BN 1st ADA) but I left in first part 1973. I was a Spec 4 and worked in the Hawk maintenance shop as the TRAMMS clerk and just before I left as the Mail clerk. I don't remember a lot of names but the B.C. was a Captain Mellon(?) there also was a David Royce (Ohio), Stevie (The Star) Stern, Danny Windrom(Georgia). I just received some more names from Randy. There was LT Allen and LT. Sprague, Sgt Mashburn, Sgt Dunlap, Eddie Cain, John Forrest, Bill Wagner, Anthony Smith and Steve Kennedy.

Nice website. 16E20 with C-1-1 Oct. 1973 thru Feb 1975. I too have fond memories of Fulda, great food and even greater beer. And a beautiful country to round it out. Take care guys.

I was in B Btry, 1st Bn, 1st ADA 77-80 as an MP on the tac site. We had Cpt Loper, Cpt King, and Cpt Moore as I recall during that time period. Also Lt Schyuster. Worked for SSG Lynch and SFC Wilson during that time as well.

I was on the Hill from 1977 to 1980.
My MOS was 24G
i worked on the ICWAR and ICC/ICPC Radars
It was a good fit for me at that time in my life. Really cold and remote.
Disco was the thing then and we would take a taxi to some town and try and dance with the Fralines.
If you were stationed there at that time send me a email

I arrived in Butzbach March 1976 HHB 1/1 ADA. Was sent the BOC Communication Platoon in Fulda on C Battery Tac Site. My MOS was 31N20 Tactical Circuit Controller. We then moved the BOC to Wildflecken. I returned to the states March 1979.

Anyone ever hear of Cricket Ops? We were in Darmstadt, 10th group HHB tactical operations center from 1972-74. I can't remember all the tac names, but caraway, and casson come to mind. Pretty hairy when the Cypress incident took place.   kilo-mike
