One day my Mother and I were going through her jewlery and I saw her purple "jet set" ravoli necklace and it brought back so many memories of her wearing it. I remember as a small child lying with my head on her lap and while she stroked my hair I would stare up at that purple blue ravoli it always mesmerised me. This necklace was given to me this year and I plan on giving it to my daughter when she has her first child.   I wish I could find the earrings to the set. It's 388 in your pictures but the stone was a purple-blue.

We always enjoy looking through your album.  We use it to refresh our memories of the names of items that seem like old friends from when we used to sell Sarah.
We have a question about your Gracious Lady set.  The Gracious Lady bracelet that we have has a delicate string of pearls as well as the clunky double chain.  This is also the way it's shown in Kay Oshel's book.
Did Sarah Coventry also offer it without the pearls?  We don't remember that.  Maybe it was after we quit selling for the company.  Do you know when they offered it that way?

Hi I love your site.  I have this large stamped With the copyright circle Sarah Cov brooch.  I'm trying to find out how old it is and am really stumped.  It has three rows of petals out petals white, inner petals goldtone and center petals white.  In right in the middle is what looks like a black southsea pearl.  The entire back is goldtone.  I purchased in 1980 from an antique dealer in Wisconsin that was pretty much closed.  It was in a shack covered with mud.  I took a chance when I cleaned it, it was in mint conditon.  Any help would be appreciated.

I Have a Broach that measures 2 1/4 tall x 1 1/2 wide. It has a oval circumference around a fawn. the fawn is standing in what looks like blades of grass and two flowers. The broach is a gold color. On the back side of the fawn is the @SARAHCOV. Any help as to the cost would be greatly appreciated. It was my Mother-in-Laws mothers. She died approx. 25 years ago. She said it might have dated from 1945 to 1955..?

I have a gold pin which looks like a conch shell with seaweed. It has raised points with the Sarah turquoise plastic beads.  I know nothing about this piece; but, would like more information for my granddaughter...I am 70 and it is part of my grandmothers jewelry who passed at 93 in 2000.  Thank you for any information or where I could find info.

I've been coming to your website for months - love it! It has been unbelievably helpful in identifying names of pieces plus finding others I want to add to my collection. The amount of time you've spent on it is amazing. I'm hoping someone can answer a question. I have all of the limited edition charms from 1972 through 1980 for the Christmas charm bracelet, except for 1973. I can't locate anything on it anywhere, not even a photo to know what I'm looking for. Was a charm even made that year? 1972 was the only sterling charm. Did SC skip a year before going ahead with the others?

Great site!  I recently bought a Sarah Coventry piece at a second hand store, it is similar to Photo 81 but it is set in silver not gold.  It is a brooch called "Candy Apple" and I could confirm this as the piece was still on the paper card it came on!  I'm just wondering if you know anything about the piece?

I bought a necklace in the 1980's and would like to find some info.on it. It is a choker style and comes to a point in the front of the throat, has blue stones in it. I have a brooch and earrings of my mother's = I think from the 60's that I cannot find on your site.  They are silver sprays of leaves with blue colored marquise cut stones accented bt small round lighter blue stones.  The brooch is about 2" while the earrings (they are clips) are about 1.25"

I was given a brooch back in the 1970's which had been given to my girlfriend by her mother its has on the back SARAHCOV and underneath GB it looks similar to the 593 and 163 with a blue stone in the middle I really like your site as I have been trying to find out about this for ages I am in New Zealand and don't think they had the home parties here as I have never seen any others.

Your website is great - what an amazing job you have done! I was looking for a piece that I had discovered in a thrift store and it is quite like the Blue Lagoon pin on your site.  The pin I have is identical except for the very top and bottom stone. On mine there is only a very small stone at each end not like the one on your site.  It is stamped Sarah Cov. Where there somewhat different pins made for different countries?  Thanks!

I was a representative back in the early 60's and appreciate your very well done site.  Sarah came out with a line of sterling silver and tri colored gold back then which was beautiful.  Many of your pieces are new to me.  Enjoyed my visit immensely.

I'm 78 yrs old & used to be a Sarah Coventry representative.  I still have several pieces from way back then & they still look brand new.  Later their jewelry just didn't compare with the old.

I have a swan lake necklace from the mid-late 70's, but I have not seen this particular necklace on any Sarah Coventry website.  It is white and gold and has three different length chain strands,  one white and two gold. It is very unique and lovely.  Any ideas?

Doing research for an upcoming sale of tons of vintage jewelry I have purchased from various sources. Your site is absolutely wonderful. As I am cleaning and getting these pieces ready to sell though it breaks my heart to find that there are people out there who either don't know how to care for their jewelry or don't care. They don't realize that even an inexpensive piece of costume jewelry can last for years with the right care. I guess what I am trying to say is that sites like yours just goes to prove that. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip down memory lane.  My mother sold Sarah Coventry in the '60's and she, my two sisters and I still have some of the pieces.  I have a couple of pieces I didn't see on you site, but could have overlooked them.  One is a silver cross pendant and the other is a silver bracelet made of small round discs (for lack of a better word).  I will definitely send my mom to your page.   She, too, will love it.

i found a necklace in a thrift store and i has sarahcov written on the clasp.it has eight seperate chains, gathered at the ends. the links kinda look like tiny paper clips. it also looks kinda of a pinky gold. i was wondering if you could tell me if it is part of the same line you have on your web site and if so any information you may have on it. id really appreciate it. thanks for your time...meaghan

I believe I have a coventry ring that I picked up at a thrift shop, I was trying to find out how much these rings would go for and how rare they are.

This site is the best information yet on Sarah Coventry.  I have some pieces which are not shown here, but hopefully I'll be able to identify them eventually.  I actually tried selling Sarah back in 1971 but I was too young to network properly and it never worked out. After looking at your site I need to take a closer look at some of my necklaces and pendants, plus I have hundreds of really neat clip-on and screw -on earrings.  I think I should open an album or website.  Do you like what this Image Event has to offer?

What special memories.  I was only 14 when my Mom passed away in 1970 but I do remember for a brief period of time she sold Sarah Coventry.  Looking for a piece from early 1960's to purchase for my 26 year old daughter, just for the memories!  Great site.

I have a very neat ring with  'coventry' stamped on the inside. It is a filigree adjustable with afaux opal, I just wanted to kow how I can find out about what year t is from. The closes thing I found on it is VERY early piece in 40-50's. A site said one of the first pieces based on the stamp. Any info would be much appreciated.

Great site Dan!  I can tell that you are really into this!!  I have a pretty extensive collection that I recently decided to sell as I am disabled & in need of a car!  I was selling Sarah Coventry as young as 14 years old!  I have many pieces older than I am because my mom was a 25 year plus rep.  In the event you are interested, I have a couple of rings #89 & # 134 to match your sets that are incomplete.  I also have several Canadian pieces!  I am not yet thru logging all of mine.  I have a few dozen catalogs as well.

My mother bought these jewelry pieces for many years.  I now have them and they bring back lots of memories.

I own a Sarah Coventry Sarah's ABC's letter S pin, and an unsigned goldtone carnival horse pin with 4 faux pearls and 2 clear rhinestones (resemblance of balloons) headpiece. I remember when my mother bought the horse pin for me (in 1960 or 1961) from a door to door saleswoman. Have you come across this horse pin before, and are either of these pins of any value?

My set did not come with the earrings but it was a two necklace set. One of the necklaces has a single diamond tassel shape and the other is the necklace you show.  I am also coming across a fair bit of Sarah Coventry Canada that I do not see on your site. I used to go to shows with her and i loved it when she came home with new pieces ( so exciting).She had a lot of the Jewelry left when she left( still does I think) mind you I raided her stash a couple of years ago and I wear it often. It was good quality even after all these years its still like new.

I used to sell Sarah Coventry Jewelry in the 60's when my husband was in the service to keep me occupied....had lots of fun with it all, and still have and wear and enjoy the many pieces I still have.....some pieces are missing thru the years but it was a wonderful extra for me.

I have a necklace and bracelet set that I believe is quite rare as I have not found it on any sites.  It's a goldtone necklace and bracelet with large oval pieces decorated with a hierglyphics or Greek design with a back of dimpled goldtone
metal.  I don't know anything about vintage jewelry, but I remember my mother said it was SC.  I think it was featured in a magazine at one time.

My mom and I were going threw some old jewelry of my grandmothers and we seen that it was Sarah Coventry jewelry. So it had to have been in the late 50s . What I want to know would anyone know if it is worth anything. Or how could I find out. Please email me.  Thank You

Hi, loved looking at your webpage. My mother just passed away and she was a Sarah Coventry consultant in the 70's so she has over 300 pieces some never taken out of the box. I was picked to sell them which I've found takes alot of web brousing for value and the name of the piece.

I cannot tell you what a walk down memory lane your website was for me.  My Mom was a "Sarah Lady" in the 70's and as a young girl I would do many home parties with her.  I still remember so many of the names, it was always exciting when they launched new pieces.  I still have a lot of Sarah from those days, I just wish I had the blue stacking display case to keep them in.

Hi-  This is a great collection   I sold Sarah Coventry back in the 70s  outside the Phila Pa area.  Anyone from there? Infact I remember my sale were high won a trip to Home Office In Ny  Play boy Club too  Now I am showing my age . I still have several pieces  but this collection is so nice!

Hi Dan, so lovely to find other true collectors. I have over 3000 pieces, many in boxes and rare. I love every one of them and spend hours a day looking for more! I am totally addicted. Everything from coffee urns to awards, I can not help myself. I am pretty sure I have the biggest collection in Australia!

Hi, I was looking at your Sara Coventry picture 91 with the burgundy set.  I have the whole set now.  It's actually a brooch, ring, earrings and pendant!  I found a catalog picture and realized I was missing a piece.  Every piece is signed on the back someplace except for the pendant which has a signed metal hang tag!  Sarah Coventry Rocks!!!

Dan, its fabulous.  I came looking to ID Coventry chandelier clear rhinestone earrings I got today.  Couldn't find them, but found the Delicious Apple I had listed without the name.  I'll ask about the earrings  on the Jewelry Ring after I get photo's

Dan - I just looked through your Sarah Coventry collection. I have the whole set of the Evening Profile Earrings, Midnight Cameo necklace, and the matching ring.  (Hematite colored glass Cameos)  I also have the Blue Lagoon Brooch and matching earring, as well as Silvery Splendor leaves w/pearls Brooch and earrings & Feather Fantasy silver brooch and earrings.  
I have many other sets that you don't show in your collection.

Dan, you have done a wonderful job on this collection, I have a question on #56 the carnival Lucite earrings, I also have these in my collection, I thought they were called "MARDI GRAS"?  I also have a ring that is similar to the earrings but you can't see the white part because the confetti is very thick with silver bars in it, I have been calling the ring confetti, I don't remember where I got either of the names,  I might have mixed them up. Well, you've done it Dan--you've started a book on Sarah Coventry. It is wonderful vintage jewelry, & not only do I collect it, but I wear it, sell it, & give it as gifts. Since closing my antiques area in a local mall which was not bringing in business, I considered becoming s Sales Rep for Sarah Coventry with a South Florida territory, only to find it has  closed its doors once again. In any event, I learned that the new line was not made in USA but in China. I bought a few pieces to compare quality & found the 40 to 50 yr. old vintage pieces far superior in quality, workmanship, stones & metals used, etc. than what the company had been currently distributing. Anyway, I really love the vintage jewelry & your site is a remarkable endeavor to capture what is important to new & old collectors alike, the NAMES OF THE PIECES, and the NUMBERS OF PIECES MADE IN EACH SET. And, your information & pictures, and your organizational layout are superb, including your alpha system. Having the year made is a nice touch, too! A little tidbit fact is that SC's many bracelets were made in varying sizes (from as small as 6" to as large as over 8"), but not all sizes were made in all styles. It can get confusing. Also, womens' necks were smaller back then, as the necklaces sometimes were under 14" in length. Sometimes SC named two different pieces the same name, or maybe with a slight twist, also confusing. Guess that is the task you now have, to get it all on paper. Anyway, there are so many knowledgeable people out there who can help you collect all this information & put it in your work to preserve it for historical & educational purposes. Thank you so much for doing this for us, it is such a good beginning & will become an invaluable tool for all to read. Oh, also, I was a Fashion Director with SC in the late 60s & early 70s when my 2 baby girls were small, one of the reasons I think I like collecting it & wearing it today! Greetings! Great site to learn more and see about the products in the Sarah Coventry jewelry line.  I aquired this little piece, a necklace that is gold chain and it has a black (liiks like Jet or Onyx) Cameo carved 'inward' on it, at a garage sale for 10 cents.  It says SARAH COV on the back and the base underneath the carved cameo is gold-tone as well. I had purchased it to use as an embellishment on a card but now I guess not.  I thought it was just a piece of junk jewelry.  Thank you for this informative site.  I am just curious as to what it is worth now. Can you maybe help me with that?

Your #274 is not Primrose, but "Promise." #356 is not Tom, but "Semi-Precious Turtle" from the 1969 Lady Coventry line. #338 is "Reflections" on the wrong card ("Sweet & Lovely" design 5119 is an adjustable Sterling Silver faux pearl ring.) #368 is "Flirtation." #369 is "Sun Flower." #372 is "Exotic." #374 is "Renaissance," one of my favorite crosses. #394 and #395 are "Windsong" and "Windfall."
