Hello - thought you would like to know there is an unatributed Theodore Fahrner pin that is being sold on Ebay today. The lister has not attributed - described the pin as Fahrner except for mentioning a TF mark in the small print of the listing description. It is under Victorian 935 Sterling Floral Pin w/ Chalcedony & Coral Ebay # 320198651527. It is about 9:30 am Thurdsay Dec.27 and the bidding will end in aprox. 4 hours (it is up to $365.00). BEING SET IN SILVER TONE WITH THE NECKLACE, EARRINGS AND BROOCH
ALL CONSISTING OF CLEAR AND LIGHT BLUE RHINESTONES IN ROUNDS, PEAR AND RECTANGLE RHINESTONES.  IT IS THE MOST BEAUTIFUL SET
I HAVE SEEN, BUT I HAVE NEVER SEEN ANY OF HER'S IN SILVER.  THE NECKLACE IS SIGNED IN A RECTANGLE SCRIPT..CARNEGIE. THIS IS RIGHT ON THE BACK OF THE NECKLACE WHICH IS SHAPED LIKE A BOW AND IT ONLY HAS A VERY SMALL PLACE TO PUT THE RECTANGLE AND SIGNATURE.  THE EARRINGS ARE NOT SIGNED AND THE BROOCH IS SIGNED HATTIE CARNEGIE SCRIPT IN A OVAL PLACQUE.  IT ALSO HAS A PAT PEND NUMBER UNDER THE PIN CLOSURE  WITH PAT. 2066969..I THINK THAT IS THE NUMBER..WHAT I CAN MAKE OUT.  THERE ARE NO C MARKS. BROOCH 3 1/2 X 2  EARRINGS 2 X 1 NECKLACE 3 1/4W X 3 LONG..BOW SHAPED AND THE NECKLACE IS 14 INCHES NOT INCLUDING
THE EXTENTION.  THE NECKLACE THAT LEADS DOWN TO THE BOW PART IS ALL RHS BAGETTS.  THE BEAUTY OF THIS PIECE IS UNBELIEVABLE...YOU COULD REALLY LOOK AT THE SET AND BELIEVE THAT YOU ARE LOOKING AT DIAMONDS AND SAPHIRES OR BLUE TOPAZ.  THERE IS A BROOCH IN YOUR HC BOOK ON PAGE 106 THAT IS SIMILAR WITH THE SAME COLOR BLUE AND THE SPRAY GOING OUT FROM THE BROOCH.  IT SAYS THAT IT IS VERY LIGHT WEIGHT (MY IS ALSO) WITH BLUE GLASS IN SILVER WITH THE "HC" MARK.  I TOOK MY SET DOWN TO THE LARGEST ANTIQUE COSTUME JEWELRY (IN MY AREA OF FORT WORTH TX) BUYER AND SELLER.  SHE IS WELL KNOWN IN YOUR CIRCLES BUT I HESITATE TO SAY HER NAME BECAUSE IT WAS JUST A PERSONAL CONVERSATION.  SHE DOESN'T DEAL IN HATTIE PIECES VERY OFTEN, BUT SAID SHE THOUGH THAT I HAD ONE OF HER EARLIEST PIECES.

I WOULD REALLY LIKE TO FIND OUT AND HAVE NO ONE TO TURN TO EXCEPT THE PERSON WITH ALL THE KNOWLEDGE..YOU...SORRY!

Only recently have I found out what an icon Hattie Carnegie was.  I bought a beautiful red velvet tufted full length dress when I was about 13, and kept it for my wedding which occured only very recently.  I wore the dress once to the Breakers in Palm Beach, and, as I mentioned, just recently for my wedding.  When I first brought the dress home from the flea market, my mother said I couldn't bring it in the house, until she looked at it and discovered that it was a Hattie Carnegie, whereupon she announced what fine taste I had!

I have a signed Hattie Carnegie brooch that is paint on copper.  It has three gold leaves in the flower and 15 stamens, and four green leaves.  It does say Hattie Carnegie on the back.  Does anyone have an idea of it's worth?  Thanks for your help.  Love the site.

I own a pendant that is a Raggedy Ann Doll with enamel and arms and legs that go out when a small chain with heart on it is pulled. I purchased it around 1961. Do you know anything about it??
