I love this site.  I own several Haskell pieces.  A modern artist I like who does some Haskell like work is Julia Bristow.

Thanks. Nice examples of a variety of pieces.

Hallo. My wife often visit your website, and recently has seen some items indicated as "sold" or "on hold".
So we would like to ask if some pieces are for sale.
The items we are interested in are:
Unsigned Haskell - photo n. 12 - 36 - 62 - 94 - 154
Unsigned Haskell clips - photo n. 5 - 87 - 144
Thank you.

My fiance and I were looking through a box of "Costume Jewelry" today that belonged to her deceased Mother. We found a locket made by Miriam Haskell. It has her name imprinted on the back and a tag with her name on it by the clasp. It has what I think are pearls in the middle of flowers. It measures approximately 2.5 inches from top to bottom. We have found similiar lockets opnline but we have not seen this exact peice anywhere. Can you possibly point us in the correct direction in order to find out the approximate worth of the locket (of course over the sentimental value)? Feel free to email me and I would gladly send you a couple of pics of it. Great website by the way. I have been to about 30 of them and this one seems be the best that I have found. Thank you

Hello,
I was thinking of bidding on a necklace on ebay item # 220409392023 Turquoise Necklace.  I emailed the seller and they said that they think the beads are plastic.  Is this a Haskell in your opinion or has it been put together? I thought the beads used were glass.

Dear Cathy,
I need some help..I sold Miriam Haskell jewelry back in the 70's. I received a necklace for top sales during a trunk show. It is natural 20" necklace with natural deep red coral/has host rock on some beads, it is graduated and has persian turquoise, it is signed cost approx $275 - $300 then. I can't find any info on value..thinking about selling. Look forward to hearing from you...Thanks Lydia

Hi Cathy,  Your collection is truly incredible.  I love your website and thanks for sharing all your knowledge with us.  I have found a Haskell necklace the someone on the Ebay forum said might be a Clark designed piece.  If you ever have a free minute, would you mind taking a look at it?  It's under the jewelry forum, Please help with a Haskell necklace, and my user name is tombro123.   Thanks so much, Denise

Good Morning Cathy - I enjoy your site very much and love looking at all the beautiful pieces you have, especially the georgian jewelry.  I have a post on the eBay jewelry board currently.  It's called Please Help B4 My Eyes Pop Out - Who Made Me?  I have gotten suggestions that my necklace may be by Miriam Haskell and I wanted to ask; if you have a chance, could you look at my pictures and let me know if it's by Haskell or possibly by one of her disciples.  Thank you very much.

I enjoyed looking at these peices. I came here looking for a necklace close to what I have but I can't find it anywhere online. Why would that be?

What an incredible opportunity to see the finer Haskell pieces!  I recently had the opportunity to buy a full Haskell Egyptian parure and it is just amazing to see additional pieces that match that series!  Its one of my favorites! Thanks!

I have a Miriam Haskell oval tag in brass and it is a necklace made of animal horns, antlers and stones all highly polished. Do you know anything about such an item?

Elizabeth IvesTue, 30 Aug 2005 3:46PM

Can jewelry be purchased from website?

Marjorie SimonMon, 29 Aug 2005 6:16AM

Dear Cathy,
I have been very grateful for your research and help while preparing my article for Metalsmith.  Millie Petronzio was also helpful at the showroom, and referred me to your book for all details.  I'm wondering if any of the images on this site are available in any larger format.  The editor would like to use some of them if a 4x5 format were possible.
Thanks!
Marjorie Simon

What a pleasure!  This album will be in my "reference" file until, if & when you choose to publish a book!  It also confirmed to me that I have several pieces of "unsigned" Haskell that I always suspected. Thank you.  Terry

Dear Cathy, What a thrill to see your vast collection.  It is  1:30 am and I am still designing jewelry, but will keep this file to see the rest.  I love it.
