I have a piece that belonged to a friend who has passed. I didn't know who Miriam Haskell was until I googled her. I have check you website and I don't see the signature piece on the back of my piece. I have had the piece for several years now and two of the rows of beads now need to be restring. Could you give me any information as I can't seem to find anything similar and have no way to find out age or value of the piece. I would love to send some photos if possible
The piece is two rows of amethyst colored beads that meet in the center with rhinestones and then two large grape like drops. Signature is a flower shaped thing with three filigree ovals that meet in the center with her name.
Thanks for any assistance you could give me.

Hi Cathy  -  What a brilliant site, it must have taken ages to put together, but very well worth it.

I have three Haskell-ish things (two which are signed) and one which is not. I would love to know about them.

Is there a way I could send you some small jpgs so you could see?   Would you ever get time ?

I hope to hear from you.  Thanks again for sharing your wonderful site with the rest of us.

kind regards

erica

Hi Cathy,
Could you tell me why the bracelet I bought from the Haskell co. in Bloomingdales in the late 1980's is unsigned?  I don't remember if it was a trunk show or a regular counter. I remember the woman saying it was special because of the natural stones.
Thanks,
Dawn

I have a Mariam Haskell Question...Help???
My Great Grandmother gave me some jewlery and my 5 yr old daughter found some of it and i having been letting her wear it to play Dress-Uo not thinking much about it. Well the other day while shopping a women stoped us and asked "Is that a Maiam Haskell piece"? I had no idea what she was talking about but then turned over the piece and saw it says Mariam Haskell on it so I took it off my daughter and now I am trying to find out if it is worth anything. It is a necklace. with a large floral motif looks hand painted porcelain with white beads around the edges. I found one ring that looked a bit like this in all my searching and that is it. Any help or info would be great.
Thank you

Hi Cathy,
I have a large locket and I'm not sure if it could be a Haskell or a Robert.I have an Ebay thread titled " To Be Or Not To Be.....A HASKELL" It is the 2nd pic shown. It has seed pearls, rhinestones and goldtone leaves all wired to a filigree backing. The back is floral designed.
When you have a free second, would you mind taking a peek?
Thanks so much,
Tammy

I am trying to be more informed when trying to ID Miriam Haskell jewelry and was told that your site is the best place to learn, Cathy. I have a wonderful unsigned parure that I am hoping and praying is an early MH. I am going to post it to the jewelry board today, if you have time to take a peak.
