Love to car !
I have a 1987 IROC-Z  with 140,000 miles.  It has been sitting in my garage for 6 years after changing professions.  It is the Dark Red Metallic with the Gold trim, and believe it or not, it is in good running condition.  Over the  years of owning it, I have kept ahead of any rust and maintained it well .  I have been shopping around to find someone to restore it, since now I work most of the time.

Still debating weather to spend the money on this model Z28, or selling this one and investing in an older 1969 - 1970 model, already restored.

Hi Nice iroc!! Can I come look at your iroc for sale? I live in corona, CA. I have been looking for a camaro I can take to shows that has been totally restored. I was going to build one my self but im not mechanically inclined and would have to pay somebody a fortune to restore mine. I have six camaros 3 rs and 3 irocs 2 are in good shape the others need work. I have a 91 camaro Rs convertibel with 25k original miles like showroom new inside and out. also a red 89 iroc with 33k original miles 5.7 hardtop if you want to trade. how much do you want for the camaro? That is the nicest 3rd gen F-Body I've ever seen. LOVE the color and the choice of stripe color.

Whats up? Great job on the car. I have a 1990 red 5.7 Iroc very similar to the condition of yours when you bought it. Where did you get the repro window sticker? And what kind of rinners are those? And finaly if not to forward about how much cost was the total project? Again great job.Again great job

I did not know that the 1990 IROC-Z was such a rare version, as you mentioned about the yellow panel emblem. I bought a brand new 90’ iroc-z in February of 1990.  I was 18 years old at that time and this brought back some memories. My car was almost exactly like the one on the website. Of all the cars I have owned over the years the iroc really stands out as one of the most memorable. All my other cars were Japanese makes like Nissan and Honda. One question. Why did you not keep the original white color? I like the white color for this car and it would have kept the stock look better.

that is a sweet resto on that third3gen fo yours, i just dropped my 5.7 into my 85 for the first time and in a few days will be running then the whole paitn prep process gets under way. gee i wish my dad wouldve repaint his 76 vega and gave it to me hahaha

Wow, just wow.  That car looks great.  I love the Sunset Orange on that car.  You also did an excellent job restoring it  I really miss my 89 IROC now.

Did you have any kind of restoration guide? My '86 is the same color as yours and I want to restore it but I dont know where to start. I have car knowledge, but have never restored a car before.

i have a 1990 iroc-z camaro the exact same color except mine is a 5.0 how much money did you put into that thing? looks great hopefully ill get mine looking that good.

Excellent job! I have a 1989 IROC, I've own this for 16 years and it's due for a re-make too. Where did you find the time to do all this? I wish I can do the same to mine. Your're car looks awesome!! Did you order most of the interior components from "Year One"? I'm planning to do the same make over to mine, hopefully be as good as your project. Very nice!

Here is something interesting and allmost unbelievable.  I just purchased a 1990 white IROC with 29000 original kilometers L-98 power and all original. And I mean all, even under the hood.  With the exception of the oil, filter and air filters of coarse. Here's the one in a million part, it has the same broken fog light and small hole in the drivers seat, almost in the same place too!  Go Figure!      (June 5/05)

Unbelieveable! That is an amazing job you have done. I can not imagine tearing the car all the way down like that. I wish I could do the same to my White 86 IROC but the cost to do that would be way more than I would ever want to spend.  Can you please tell me how you got the window sticker please. Very Nice, although I am partial to the original white color. The new color puts your car in a league of its own. Really a head turner. Nice job.
