Colonel BB,

Another great job by you and your son. Both the videos and your still shots are perfect. I particularly liked seeing the photo of the 5th Marines CO, my old unit. In my day it was Colonel Tolson A. Smoak. We always thought these guys looked so old; now they all look so very Young! :-)

Thank you for all you do!

Semper Fi,

Bob

Having served with 1/1 as a young Lt with Alpha 3 in 1969 I enjoy following my old unit.  These pictures are terrific.

I think this was the third time I had to honor of attending a change of command at Camp Pendleton. The experience is humbling. To be around so many great men and women who are serving our country is unlike anything else I've ever done.

Another great job, BB.  When I went through Combat Training at Pendleton,  I lived in a tent at Tent Camp #2 which may be Camp Horno now. Those Hills and roads sure look familiar. We ran up Old Smokey one night with our mattresses on our back. Always enjoy reviewing your photos and remembering how the "Old Corps" operated.
