Downtown Danville, Illinois was struck by another fire on March 26, 2008. The photos in this album are not as much a record of the fire as they are a representation of Danville's firefighters and all the good they do for our city.
Once again, as they did during the Chittick Eye Care fire in 2006, the Danville Fire Department kept a major fire from destroying a whole block and becoming a major disaster.
