I've been an artist since 1971. In the 90's I discovered the world of printmaking and currently belong to the Los Angeles Printmaking Society. My unique "stamp" on my work is that I do hand stitching into the paper.
My current artistic skills have travelled to my head (literally). I couldn't find a decent headband that would stay put in my hair. The availability of quality and beauty just wasn't out there. Then, quite by accident, I discovered the most fantastic world of vintage jewelry. At the Long Beach Vintage Flea Market a blinding sparkle caught my eye. I went to investigate and ended up purchasing my first brooch (an adorable Weiss rhinestone bug). and she matched my headband perfectly. Without a doubt a serendipitous event had occurred and I've never been happier.
