Cheri of Milky Way Jewels shared some interesting extra facts about Mexican jewelry and Coro.."Not everyone knows that during World War II many American jewelry
companies had their jewelry made in Mexico because of the availability
of cheap labor and sterling silver. In the U.S. the work force was
limited and most metals were saved for wartime production. Coro formed
a business relationship with Hector Aguilar and his studio made jewelry
for them. Here's one of those pieces:
