Judy Lee Jewelry was sold at parties in peoples homes during the 1950s -70s and was founded by Blance and Aldo Viano in 1949. A Chicago based company.
Fred Rezazadehs book, "Costume Jewelry A Practical Handbook & Value Guide" has this to say about Judy Lee Jewelry:
"Judy Lee is the trademark belonging to the Blanch-Ette Company, founded in the late 1950s. The company employed marketing and distribution methods similar to Emmons and Sarah Coventry. The jewelry is of average quality and not very common in the market. Some of the pieces have interesting traditional designs set with top quality rhinestones. Although collectible, Judy Lee jewelry has not yet captured the interest of many collectors. Some dealers put a high asking price on their Judy Lee jewelry, but most of it can be purchased at average prices. Judy Lee jewelry is usually marked Judy-Lee (in use since 1958), but another mark, Judy-Lee Jewels, may also be used." (Pg.95)
