TYPES OF PEARLS:
There are many types of pearls, including natural pearls (made with no human interference), cultured pearls (pearls made by inserting a bit of a mother-of-pearl) into [nucleating] a living oyster or by inserting a bit of foreign tissue), baroque pearls (irregularly-shaped pearls), freshwater pearls, seed pearls (tiny pearls), Biwa pearls,blister pearls (grown attached to the shell), black pearls (gray to black pearls), Mabe pearls (cultivated blister pearls). Pearls can be gently cleaned with mild soap and water.

TYPES OF SETTINGS:
Bead Set:
(setting in which stones are held in place by beads raised from the surrounding metal)
Bezel:
(metal band with top edges burnished over to hold a stone in place)
Claw Setting:
(prongs of metal hold a stone in place)
Channel Setting:
(a row of same size square or rectangular stones fitted into a continuous metal channel which holds the stones in place)
Collet Setting:
(a short tubular band or collar of metal enclosing a stone)
Gypsy Setting:
(a one-piece mount for a stone which is recessed into the metal, with the table of the stone level with the metal surface;also called Star Setting when lines radiating from the stone are engraved in the metal)
Tiffany Setting:
(a four or six prong elevated setting for a solitaire stone)
Pavé-Set:
(stones set close together,showing no metal between them)

A style of earring or brooch in which a large stone or decorative element suspends three smaller pear-shaped pendants of similar design.
A girandole is an earring or brooch in which three pearls, gemstones, or pendants hang from a large gemstone. The central drop is usually larger than the other pendants.

Uranium Glass is another name for Vaseline Glass. Therefore, if it does not have Uranium in it, it is not Vaseline Glass. Vaseline Glass is verified by using a blacklight in order for the piece to glow from yellow to a vibrant fluorescent green.Vaseline Glass is a yellow or yellow-green glass piece that turns bright fluorescent green under the blacklight.
