This album was a pleasure to make and will be to share. The pictures in here are of immediate family, and of my extended family ... some are friends here in NC, some are friends we've made through our ratties, and one set of friends was made through "Taste of Home" magazine that I was able to introduce later to the wonderful world of ratties!
Date(s): January 9, 2007. Album by Sherri Chatterton - "Nana". Photos by Various. 1 - 24 of 30 Total. 2158 Visits.
Smokeyjo and his daddy The picture says it all ... the two main men in my life, hubby Guy and rattie son, Smokeyjo.
Chef Guy Chatterton 12'04 This is my chief squeeze, and has been for nearly 22 years now. Can you guess what he does for a living?
Guy's new ride And when he's not being a chef, he's riding anything with two wheels!
Halloween and the kids! Granddaughter Annie, Grandson Ethan, and lovely daughter Nikki. Our pride and joys.
Ethan and his big laugh-face At six years old, grandson Ethan loves to grin and laugh!
Annie and her Boca Our granddaughter, Annie, and her feline friend, Boca.
Hard-working weekend Our youngest daughter, Cynthia Jo. Look at that beautiful smile!
Cynthia, Jessa and Sono-Dawn Three of my daughters, Cyn, Jessa and Sono.
Connie and family One of my very best buddies in the world, Connie H., her Pal, and her brother visiting us here in NC.
Connie and Sherri hamming it up I love my girlfriend! Even if she lives in Florida with Bob and Flingos!
Bob, Connie and Guy We love it when the four of us get together ... we laugh like idiots when we all go out together!
Bob and a sidekick This is Connie's main squeeze of years and years, and one of the sweetest guys I've ever met.
Bob & Pups (253KB) This is my brother, Bob, who lives in Texas (and one of his young neighbor friends). He actually is a dog lover!
Patsy and the precious pup This is our good friend, Patsy, and her blue fawn pit bull terrier, Amara. We've known this big-hearted gal for many years now, and love her to death.
Suzie Q (Susan Fagnand) This is my sweet friend, Susan F. holding one of our pups, Buffy. Suzie is another one of those "not to be missed" friends.
Sadly, our precious Suzie Q. passed away of cancer in May of 2007. She is missed.
Barbara and Jim, Aug. '04 One of my first mentors as a rattie breeder, Barb M., set me up with our first two male ratties: red-headed SkipperToo! and our Type B son, Smokeyjo. She's a wonderful woman and I love her.
Shanna and Bella Shanna is a sweetheart of a lady that I went to college with - she is now in human services and I'm so proud of her! She went to the UKC show in Hickory with her babydoll, Bella Donna, who she got from TDK.
Shirley, George and little Mia These are my two wonderful friends that I met through "Taste of Home" .. I was later able to help them find the love of their lives, little Bonita Mia. They recently moved up from Florida to SC, so we are only hours apart now! Woo Hoo!
Christmas Elves '06 What a motley crew, huh? These are a bunch of friends that will do anything for each other: Kat, Sherri, Guy, Gina-Rose, and Shanna in front. When we get together, it's for hours at a time!
Els thinking things through The first time I met Elsie and her hubby, it was instant friendship between us. She is very gentle and compassionate, highly talented in photography, has a wonderful sense of humor and raises some gorgeous rat terriers!
Kennel construction When I showed Guy my plans I'd drawn up for my kennel years ago, his eyes got a little big when he said, "hon, this is gonna cost!". I just smiled and told him we'd take our time. Ten years down the line, heated and cooled condos, concrete runs and healthy ratties are the result of patience!
Lexie in the ring Ahh, and there's Lexie B. Years ago, she got one of her first blue ratties from TDK (Roo). Since then, Lexie and I have become good friends and know we can count on each other. And besides that, she's just plain sweet!
"Lexie and Roo, in white and Blue" Another of Lexie with Roo, waiting for the terrier races to start.
Mom, holding my hand after surgery My first open-heart surgery caught us all off guard. This is Mom on vigil as I was in recovery. She is a very special angel to me.
