Tiny Dancer, founder of the kennel (March 26, 2005)| This is our precious Tiny Dancer, foundation lady of our kennel, Tiny Dancer Kennel. Many years ago, this tiny snippet of a rattie toddled down Barbara Cox's front steps and charmed Chef and myself totally and completely in about 5 seconds. One ear up, one down, rooting dirt on her tiny nose ... and eyes that melted our hearts. Little did we know the adventures that Tiny would take us on ... Tiny is the mother of Bonita Nina, Miss Blaze, Skeezicks and Chipotle Pepper; she is grandmother to Manfred and Electra's Roo; she is great-grandmother to PBK's Cordon Bleu at TDK (Chelsea), Kory and Widgie; through her daughter, Skeezicks, she was grandmother to our precious, departed SissiWidgit, and great-grandmother to Kathie's Frisco. Tiny was the perfect momma to two litters, then was spayed; since then, she takes every puppy that comes along under her protective wing, and claims them as her own. In this home, there will never be a puppy that will be without the love of a loving Nanny .... our wonderful, precious, TINY DANCER. We love this girl so very much. |

Champion TDK's Oh Mi Sugar'd Buff (February 22, 2007)| Well, Patsy Hughes and I knew that Tigger and Tuffy would have at least one Champion when their litter arrived last year. So, I now present their daughter, Buff, at 9 months of age, a brand new UKC Champion. Many thanks to Patsy and daughter Caitlin for helping achieve this dream. |

TDK Proven Studs (August 11, 2007)Occasionally I will stud one of my males out to the right female. These are the males I currently have "at stud". Females must have a current test from their vet showing they carry no brucellosis or STD's before they are considered as mates for one of my males.

My Family and close friends (January 9, 2007)| This album was a pleasure to make and will be to share. The pictures in here are of immediate family, and of my extended family ... some are friends here in NC, some are friends we've made through our ratties, and one set of friends was made through "Taste of Home" magazine that I was able to introduce later to the wonderful world of ratties! |

Type A and Type B differences (May 11, 2005)This album was created for those who need/want to see the differences between the Type A (also called the Classic rat terrier) and the Type B (also called the Teddy Roosevelt Terrier - TRT). Both types of these branches should be sleek and well proportioned, nothing should be ungainly or out of sinc with the purpose of the breed. Both are "go to ground" dogs and their tightly proportioned shapes define that purpose. Heads, legs, body shape and size, and musculature should look "together" and should match body size. A good rule of thumb to tell the difference is that a Type B's legs are between 1.5 to 3 inches shorter than the body length; UKC sets their shortest height at 8" tall. For more information, please visit the website of the NRTA (National Rat Terrier Association) at: www.nrta.com This album only touches the tip of the iceberg - the NRTA site will walk you through the differences. |
