Shimmer and Louey TRT litter (May 22, 2010)Shimmer is a 5 year old foundation female, first generation from our first TRT foundation parents, DixieRose and Smokeyjo. This is Shimmer's second and last litter. Louey belongs to Lenerd Metusik, out of Mary Ann May's lines. Louey has the distinction of being the #1 TRT in the US in 2009 and part of 2010. Shimmer was never shown, but having had her evaluated several times I was led to believe that she would have championed. She has excellent lines and is 2nd generation Type B; these pups are 3rd generation on the maternal side. This litter should be good for showing as well as for foundation dogs. Other than that, they will also make excellent little ratters!
TAILS WILL NOT BE DOCKED IN THIS LITTER.
Litter was born May 22, 2010. There are currently two puppies still available, one female, one male. |

4th of July in Ayer, Mass. (July 8, 2009)| This 4th of July, we spent some time with our daughter, Nikki, our son-in-law, Glen, and four of our grandchildren (Ryan, Annie, Corey and Ethan) in Clinton, Mass. On the 4th we went to the neighboring town of Ayer, Mass, to watch the local parade and have a wonderful "small town" 4th of July. It was so special ... we haven't had so much fun since we were kids ourselves. This is a "thank you" to our kids and grandkids, and a tribute to small-town, old fashioned fun. |

Hickory show, March 2009 (March 25, 2009)Most of the photos in this album are of Lenerd Metuziks' two TRT/Type B's, Louey and Ginger. Louey is from Mary Ann May's line, while Ginger is a cross between Mike Staples and the Chatterton line. Ginger's sister, Miss Cleo is also in these photos. She was slated to be in the show that weekend; however, duty called her the night before the show and she responded by digging her little heart out to catch another mole (she'd caught her last one two days prior). While she was indulging in her normal good go-to-ground hunting instincts, she apparently hit a rock while digging, and her nail split all the way to the quick. The vet took it off and she was bandaged and put on medication for a few days to help with the pain. Next time, little Cleo! This time, little sister Ginger and future-hubby Louey brought down the house! Congratulations to everyone involved with these two beautiful TRT's!
UPDATE: As of late 2009, Louey became the UKC's #1 Champion TRT in the United States! Congratulations Leonard and Mary Ann! |

Tiny Dancer, founder of the kennel (March 26, 2005)| This is our precious Tiny Dancer, foundation lady of our kennel, Tiny Dancer Kennel. Many years ago, this tiny snippet of a rattie toddled down Barbara Cox's front steps and charmed Chef and myself totally and completely in about 5 seconds. One ear up, one down, rooting dirt on her tiny nose ... and eyes that melted our hearts. Little did we know the adventures that Tiny would take us on ... Tiny is the mother of Bonita Nina, Miss Blaze, Skeezicks and Chipotle Pepper; she is grandmother to Manfred and Electra's Roo; she is great-grandmother to PBK's Cordon Bleu at TDK (Chelsea), Kory and Widgie; through her daughter, Skeezicks, she was grandmother to our precious, departed SissiWidgit, and great-grandmother to Kathie's Frisco. Tiny was the perfect momma to two litters, then was spayed; since then, she takes every puppy that comes along under her protective wing, and claims them as her own. In this home, there will never be a puppy that will be without the love of a loving Nanny .... our wonderful, precious, TINY DANCER. We love this girl so very much. |

My Family and close friends (January 9, 2007)| This album was a pleasure to make and will be to share. The pictures in here are of immediate family, and of my extended family ... some are friends here in NC, some are friends we've made through our ratties, and one set of friends was made through "Taste of Home" magazine that I was able to introduce later to the wonderful world of ratties! |
