|  6 My mom and dad on their honeymoon. My parents met at an AROY dance (American Romanian Organization for Youth) before my father went off to serve. When he came back, they married and started what would eventually become a family of five children.

 7 Eds' mom and dad- Ed and Agnes Sunday- the happy couple at their wedding! Agnes is Lebanese American and Ed is Italian American. And yes her cooking is delightful.

 10 Eds' dad (Ed Sunday Senior) is an accomplished jazz guitarist and played with some great well known national and local musicians including Pat Pace, Lou Cyriano, Cab Calloway, and Phil Palumbo. The highlight of his musical career was getting to play backup for Tony Bennett.
|  11 In the early 1950's, Eds' mom and dad had a drug store, this is where they began their career as antique dealers. The sign in the back right reads "We specialize in ring sizing, stone setting, refinishing, new shanks, general repairs, watch repair service. We accept trade-ins".
|  12 Mom & Dad Sunday, Ed and his sister Barbara. Barbara was also in the antique and vintage jewelry business. Sadly, Barbara passed this last August. We miss you terribly, BJ!

|  14 Ed was born June 22, 1955. This adorable little boy would be my destiny, and the love of my life.

|  17 Melancholy Baby, I was born on August 16, 1959- the youngest of five children.
|  18 Our whole crew- John, the eldest, Betsy, David, Robert and myself. We were a real handful and my parents deserve a medal for bravery!

 19 Between the years 1959 and 1965 we lived in Tehran, Iran. My father was the plant manager for The B.F. Goodrich company there. My older siblings can actually speak, read and write Farsi quite well. This family picture was take in our back yard while there.

|  21 Ed-the mutton chopped graduate! Groovy! Eddie apprenticed under his father where he honed his skills as a watch maker and jeweler. He now has nearly 34 years of full time experience in his craft.

This morning I dug up this old local newspaper article from nearly 30 years ago about my hubby! love that hair and those mutton chops! 1980
|  26 Me- (Carolyn)-a moody and insolent teen. I attended Ohio University (Athens, Ohio) in 1978-and graduated in 1981.

 31 Our wedding, May 8th, 1983 at Stan Hywett in Akron, Ohio. We met just 8 months prior to this photo!
|  32 Check out Ed's antique pocket watch chain, he looked so dapper! An yes, my dress is a Gunne Sax, remember those?
|  33 Eds' mom and dad (taken in 1987) displaying their vintage jewelry and coins at the old Aurora Farms Market in Ohio. They set up every Wednesday and Sunday for years. This attracted thousands of antique lovers from miles around. The market was torn down in the early 90's to make way for outlet malls- an unfortunate sign of the times.

 34 Ed and I would follow in their footsteps- we set up at antique shows, traveling all over the country for the first 20 years of our marriage. Here we are at a antique show in 1988 selling our wares!

|  36 This is Eddies sister, Barbara Jo Sunday White (aka Babs, aka B.J.) Barbara passed August 11, 2007, just 4 days short of her 60th birthday. Barbara was also in the jewelry business specializing in vintage costume. Her on-line shop was Ruby Lanes "BJ's Vintage Jewelry and Collectibles". We miss her more than words can say.

 37 I attended The Gemological Institute of America (GIA) and earned my certifications in Diamonds- (1987), Diamond Grading-(1987), Colored Stones-(1999) and Gem Identification-(1999)

 43 We just celebrated our 25th wedding anniversary. Hard to believe how fast it goes by.
