Spring Concert 2003 (May 12, 2003)| With a 1960's theme, this year's Spring Concert had parents singing along to tunes from the past. Under the excellent direction of our Music Teacher, Mrs. Metz, the fifth through eighth graders showed a great deal of spirit in performing songs from "Surfin' USA" to "Buttercup" and "Hair". The students had also created their own sets and spent months preparing what proved to be a wonderful concert. The show was capped off by a rousing rendition of "Proud to Be an American" performed by all of the students in grades 5 through 8. The school's band was also featured, and displayed their musical talents with enthusiasm. |
