Maverick's Contest (March 2, 2005)ahhh - my teleconversion lense arrived today (2 days after)... I sure could've used it. Anyway here are some shots from the 2005 Maverick's contest. Next year I'm going to get on the press boat. This year I shot the break (about 1/4 mile off shore) clinging to the eroding cliffy hillside. Some of the shots from the press boat are really sweet. Here's the SF Chronicle story with pictures and video:
