roof job (October 17, 2009)| The chimney cap blew off. Our worker put the ladder up to replace the cap in late August. He never returned so our friend Peter volunteered to do it. The roof is very steep and slippery and I insisted that we use a safety rope. I tried to throw it over myself but failed. |

Genealogy Books for Sale (April 12, 2009)| I'm having eye problems and reading is a real problem. Plus, with Mac's heart problems and my lack of work, we really need money to eat and pay bills. So I will sell all of the books that I've had for research. First the titles, conditions and prices and then the photos. I take PayPal and checks and will figure the media mail prices as I go. They have all been used by me and others and I want to get them into the hands of people who will use them. There will be over 100 books listed when I'm finished. Fussy dealers need not even email me. |
