"The second paragraph states "receptor binding studies have revealed nothing, which could indicate a previously unknown pathway in the brain." This is very wrong - there are many papers, and even a wikipedia article, that have found that Salvinorin A is an agonist for Kappa-opioid receptors. Morphine also stimulates this receptor (hence the name of the receptor) but morphine is not selective and stimulates the mu-opioid receptor making it addictive. Since Salvinorin-A doesn't work on the mu-opioid receptors its not addictive." --Ian, 11/21/06
