August 5th. This is the final product of the pattern in the previous picture. This time it's a 2x6 which reaches between the metal stringers. When I installed it, I was somewhat but not totally suprised to see the wall was sagging 1/4 inch on side near cabinet, and a full half inch on the forward side.
