Salt Lake Diamond T SOLD
1947 Diamond T Model 201 1-ton.  Sold new by the Auburn Cord Duesenberg dealer in Salt Lake City that provided race vehicles and ground support for land speed record runs by Ab Jenkins from 1935 through 1949.  This truck was used by the Bonneville Intermountain distributor for General Tire through 1965. A General Tire employee bought the truck and retired it to Ranch duty in a remote desert town.  It was discoveed there in 2012.

Wheeler General Tire in Salt Lake City used this Diamond T 201 service truck in the 40's and opened this new $150,000 building in 1950.  Business was good for the tire that "Set New Records For Mileage"
