Greetings from California! I'm bored at work so I decided to check out your website on my iphone during lunch break. I enjoy the information you present here and can't wait to take a look when I get home. I'm shocked at how fast your blog loaded on my cell phone .. I'm not even using WIFI, just 3G .. Anyhow, excellent site!

I played piano with Sammy Bland at WCEC and also on WNCT-TV.  I now live in California and I would like to hear any music news from the Rocky Mount area.

Great memories as a "jock" at WCEC & WFMA. They wre the good old days. Hi to Rob Lynn, Joe, Mark and the rest of the gang. Sorry to hear we lost Frank Hayden. He was one of the best. Remember "Coot" the engineer?

Greetings to all.

Dear Rick: I work for Sammy Bland. He is alive and well in Harrisonburg, VA. He retired from announcing NASCAR in Richmond and owns the BBQ Ranch in Harrisonburg. Thanks for the photo.
