CRK's Erik's Echo
Emerald cut diamond - one of the more common step cut shapes in diamonds. Its popularity has had its ups and downs but it always regains demand due to its clarity and aura of strength. Emerald cut stones will show any flaw and only the most perfect stone can be enhanced by this design.

In rat terriers, many colors come into fashion and then fall away. Only a great speciman of the breed can radiate with certain coat colors. Many shades can enhance the dogs faults just as the emerald cut can enhance a diamond's flaws.  Pearl or blue fawn is one of those colors. It takes a great looking dog to really wear this color and stand out in a crowd. Echo is one of those dogs.

I am so proud to have CRK's Erik's Echo here at S Creek. I am co-owning him with Pat Kennedy, his breeder. He is half-brother to my Tucker and full brother to her Calico Run's Leif Erik's Son.

He is a blue fawn/white/tan pieblad registered UKC and UKCI. Many call his color pearl. Personally he reminds me of the dark clouds of an Oklahoma storm. But I guess there really is not a color name for those.

He is a big boy at around 16 to 17 pounds and is the biggest boy here (and just as big of a baby). He loves to be in the house and is very well behaved (for an intact male). He follows me around a lot waiting for the next play session. He will rub against my legs like a cat to get my attention when I am on the computer.

Echo has produced some gorgeous offspring and I am really looking forward to breeding him in 2007.
