Garrett's Cowboy
Eclipse - many years have gone by since people have celebrated this amazing event. Many people in history have looked upon an eclipse as a sign of the end of the world or as a new beginning. Today people take them for granted, glancing over them as if they hold no mystery or worth.

Hammerhead shark - normally a loner but at certain times of the year can be found in huge groups. This shark is dangerous and mysterious. No other shark shares the hammerhead's physical characteristics.

Garrett's Cowboy was my first rat terrier. He was purchased from a "guy" in 1999 for my son. He was not the friendliest dog - scaring many little kids who visited my yard. He has a full tail and dew claws that grow into his leg. His patellas are bad and the only thing worse was his attitude until he was altered (after taking a few bites of my hand). I know nothing of his pedigree and only bred him once.

Now as an older fella he has surprised me in his change. He is my chow's constant companion and spends his day pulling her fur out. He is now the first to greet children and loves everyone. He always stand to the side and waits his turn to be petted. He has never been a "in your face" dog and makes the cutest little grunting noises when he is held.

My kids love him and I believe he helps to keep my chow living passed an age that big dogs are not supposed to make. I do not give him enough credit for the role he plays here in my pack. For all his faults, he will be here and loved until he crosses the Rainbow Bridge.

This is what Cowboy does best. He chews on Lacey's coat and makes her look like she has the worst haircoat.
