W'Wind's Gracious Misty
This darling little lady has come to me from Karrie of Short's Rat Terriers. She is a beautiful dark chocolate and white bicolor NBT. If you look at her pedigree it is like looking at royalty. Many of her ancestors are behind some of the top rat terriers in the world.
Misty is the perfect example of elegance. She may not be the tallest or the largest or the longest legged rat terrier but she has a personality that many covet. Misty lives to love. She gets so excited to see you that her whole body wiggles. My mother even tries to steal her because she is the happiest dog in the world.
In the summer of 2006, Misty did something I never thought I would see. She attacked one of the massive rats I have living nearby and received 8 stitches for her effort. I was shocked that Misty had fought it - I had always thought of her opening my door and letting the mice in to play since she was so loving. She proved to me not to judge a dog too quickly - she is a terrier after all.
