Thank you for the picture of Jacob Brantley!  He is my great great great grandfather as well.  It seems we are both descendants of the Peter Ouzts line.

REALLY ENJOYED THE ALBUM. I LIVE IN BATON ROUGE,LA. AND WENT TO EDGEFIELD ABOUT 4 YRS.AGO. RETIRED ARMY PILOT SO I DO LIKE THE MILITARY INFO  AND TRYING TO KEEP UP WITH OUZTS HISTORY. THANKS AGAIN

Can you please tell me if the Jacob B Ouzts was born on 22 October 1805 in Edgefield SC?  If he is, he is also my great great grandfather along this line 1. Jacob Ouzts --> Francis Ousts --> Janie Ouzts (married another Ouzts) --> James Ouzts -- me.
