SUPER 4 miler

Jose Gonzales goes WEST to the Good Land (Goleta CA) to direct the fast Super bowl 4 miler.

Come see the beautiful Stowe Grove Redwoods and praise God for the beauty.

Will be fun at the AZ surprising Super Bowl victory to tell how you ran the AM race.

To Church service after the run. You can rest in the pews but no sleeping after the hard effort.

So a quick jaunt to SPECTRUM locker room and Dj ran the 4 miles at a 140 to 150 pulse rate and a pretty reasonable time. And Kelly thought I looked OK but she doesn't know about the left knee pain. Thirty years of running is not good to the knees of a lot of old timers. The 100,000,000 steps (?) wear out the old meniscus - they will not regenerate nor heal. Wear the very best shoes you can find to decrease the shock loading to the knees will pay big dividends when older. Running is very very bad on the knees but keeps the hearth healthy. You can have good knees and a bad heart. OR bad knees and a good heart. Dj working on a bionic UHMWPP meniscus -- 5 years from now we oldies can go to bionic shock absorbers.
