#1527 1946 WDX Power Wagon (July 13, 2006)| Here is a recent find out of Nevada from a 22,000 acre ranch and spent 60 years there never leaving until recently on my trailer. Almost all original truck and has the typical rancher doo dads added or missing. Very different from my earlier #19 truck. This one was built in Detroit the other in California. I will add pics of different things I've noticed from my other pw's. Maybe help someone with the pics trying to refurb/restore one to factory with the different things especially how they were painted. |

1946 WDX #19 (May 2, 2004)This is a truck I acquired a while back it is the Fourth lowest numbered San Leandro, California built truck known to still exist and most complete. They made 250 trucks that first year at the San Leandro plant. I'm uncertain at this time how many a day they could build but in the spance of 1946-1968 and 2 plants going they produced over 73,000 of these trucks. Certainly not rare as vehicles go but finding one in restorable condition is rare as most were rusted out or beat to oblivion. Most are long gone or hidden away and or forgotten. This truck is originally Dodge blue #1 and was repainted at some time to light blue. I have nick named this truck "Old Blue" This truck may be purchased as is with almost 95% of the parts. Used as pictured with the correct early flange in front of the spare tire bed sides with NEW Mar-K oak wood and SS strips with a pair of super scarce NOS rear fenders. Also included is the tailgate(new)Painted maroon and the original spare tire holder. I have a 1946 date coded winch which is included as well with bumpers looks complete but needs going through. The original winch was cut off the front frame horns but luckily they did not take much and it can be redone with a good mig welder at the ends and grounded smooth. Looks like about .125 to .250 inches missing. Pics show the short running boards I am including a set of long ones. They will need work or replacing depends on you. Has a great set of seat springs as well as a real good windshield frame. Truck has the original rear shock setup, per the build card it was an express series truck(had a bed). Also the gearing is 5.83's(original) with the smaller rims which was uncommon as they usually had 4.89's with that tire/rim combo. Not a highly optioned truck definitely ordered for work on a farm. This truck has the straightest sheetmetal I've seen on a 60 year old truck. $6,000 Serious offers only no lowball I'll give $1K for it all and I will not separate parts. Took me too long to gather all this up. You all know what this truck is and what it will be with a proper resto/refurb |

1957 MGA Roadster 1500 (November 20, 2003)| Here is a documentation of a cosmetic restoration on a 1957 MGA Roadster 1500. We will be rechroming the bumpers etc and chroming the wire wheels along with the spokes & knockoffs. The car is presently painted in Austin Healey Florida green(turquoise) and the paint has not lasted and is not the right color. We will redo the paint with the proper sealer and primer as the doors are aluminum and reshoot the correct color Tyrolite Blue. Also a new convertible top and tonneau cover along with new interior except for the seats which are in excellent shape for this vintage car. Also we will be replacing all the seals and gaskets for all the exterior trim pieces along with new silver piping fender welt. This car is in great shape and the only exterior sheetmetal parts that will be replaced are the LH & RH rocker panels below the doors and the front steel valance. |

If you see something you need email me mtranch57@hotmail.com with the picture number and we can proceed from there. I'm trying to make this as simple as possible with lots of parts be patient with the pics loading I have hundreds and hundreds of used parts to list and will add them as I get time. If you don't see something ask I may just have it somewhere in the back 2 acres and haven't listed it yet, there is just too much to list at one time. |
