1958 Dodge Sweptside
| This album is of a 1958 Dodge Sweptside that will be undergoing a full restoration. These trucks are rare being built from 1957 to 1959. The concept was to compete with the Chevy Cameo and Ford Ranchero, Dodge dealers needed something to sell and fast. The engineers took the rear panels from a 1957 Dodge station wagon and grafted them onto the standard pick up bed. The trucks were 1/2 tons with custom cabs with big back windows and options added as the customer ordered. This truck was picked up in Notus Idaho in August of 2014 and brought back to Indiana. |
