My experience in journalism is wide-ranging. Below are folders categorizing various jobs I've had, followed by the specific types of clips inside. Currently, I serve as a Page Designer and Copy Editor for Cox Ohio Publishing in Dayton. There, I work on designs for the Dayton Daily News, Hamilton's JournalNews, Springfield News-Sun and The Middletown Journal as well as a host of weeklies and tabs. Cox Ohio When Cox Ohio Publishing merged its copy and production desks in May 2007, I was brought in because of my ability to work across multiple editions.
Here I work as a designer and editor for the Dayton Daily News, the Springfield News-Sun, the Hamilton Journal News and the Middletown Journal, as well as our several weekly papers and tabloids. |

The Daily Press From Sept. 2006 through May 2007, I worked as a journalist for The Daily Press and Press Dispatch in Victorville, Calif.
On the desk at this 35,000 circ. (95,000 Sunday as the Press Dispatch), I served as a copy editor, graphic designer, religion editor, Web editor and occasionally as a columnist and staff writer.
Located here are both pages and graphics I designed during my time in California, as well as a copy of one of my columns. |
