2007 Pittsburgh Winterfeis
Rince Pix was pleased to be chosen as the Authorized Photographer of the 2nd Annual Pittsburgh WinterFeis. These photos were taken in accordance with An Coimisiun and the NAFC regulations regarding action photography.
The photos for this event have been divided into several different categories for each day of competition to assist you in finding photos from your competition. You should note however that because 2 photographers were shooting at the same time, the photos from earlier in the day are not always first. To ensure you don't miss any photos be sure to scan the whole album that you are interested in. The albums are set to load 99 pics per page to aid those with slower computers, but you can select 'view all' at the bottom of the first page if you wish. All photos from the feis are now online. ***If you see the notation under a photo to "please inquire for additional photos of this dancer" it means that there is a good photo of that dancer but it is a high kick or lift and a lot of bloomer is showing. To err on the side of caution I have not posted these this type of photo unless the watermark is covering the bloomers anyway. Please e-mail me with the photo number under which the message appears and I will set up a private album for you to view the photo(s).
PHOTOS HAVE NOT YET BEEN COLOUR CORRECTED OR CROPPED
Unlike many of our other event galleries, these photos have only been edited for content NOT for color correction, red-eye or cropping. Rest assured that all PURCHASED photos will undergo complete editing before being shipped. You can expect dress colouring to be accurate and the entire photo to be brightened, although due to the poor lighting and the fact we shoot without a flash, there may still be a slight yellow or blue cast to the background. The photo will always be cropped to ensure that the dancer fills as much of the frame as possible in printing the photo size you order. If the feet or face in the photo you are choosing are slightly out of focus, that cannot usually be corrected. If you have specific questions, please don't hesitate to ask.

SUN - Prelim & Champ U12 and Under (Sunday, December 30, 2007)| Please note that some of the photos taken on the Prelim stage have NOT been colour corrected at all. There is quite a heavy shadow on many of these photos that can be removed by about 75%. Other photos need overall brightening. It was just too time consuming to be able to finish before posting. It should be fairly obvious which ones still require colour correction. To see examples of how your photos will be corrected see the Prelim & Champ Over 17 folder, and look for photos taken at the front of the stage. If you have any specific concerns, please don't hesitate to ask. |
