1 Little Lou Hollywood, FL May 26, 2012
Little Lou was saved on his very last day at Miami Dade Animal Shelter, an extreme high kill selter. He even escaped and ran through the shelter! Little Lou is about 12 pounds, and estimated at 1 year old. He was turned in by his owner for biting a 2 year old child, but it is very apparent that the 2 year old was terrifying him. It took weeks for him to trust; he used to squeal like a pig in fear! Little Lou is neutered and up to date on vaccinations. He's very playful, and currently fostered with 5 dogs and a cat; he is VERY curious about the cat who is bigger than him and rubs up on him, confusing him more. Little Lou is very alert to noises, very loving and affectionate (he loves to cuddle and give kisses). His foster family doesn't doubt he is still wary of things and will not place him with children. To find out more about Little Lou please contact Pamela at: npcriado@gmail.com
2 Tango Ocala, FL December 29, 2012
Tango came from a kill shelter in Alabama. He's good around the horses, cats and my older dogs. I think he would be best suited for a quiet person or a home without a lot of traffic. He was very skiddish when he arrived but has come around immensely. He is crate trained, and good about going on the puppy pads if he can't get out. He is still intact, but has an appointment for his neuter Jan. 2nd. He is about 4 months old. Tango would really excel with his own human. Very smart and loyal. Adoption fee is $125 and includes ALL shots, chip, and neuter. (and some toys). For more info, or to adopt Tango, please contact: Darcy Scudero at Center Stage Farm CENTERSTAGEFARM@aol.com
3 Chica Denver, CO December 29, 2012
Hello! My name is Chica - happy to meet you! I am lovely female Rat Terrier/Chihuahua mix, born in 2010, weighing about 8lbs. I am a true survivor... you see, I was found by a kind person running along Interstate 25! I am seeking a wonderful and loving forever family who will spoil and adore me. My foster mom wants you to know that I am fully house-trained, a joy to have around, and the perfect house-guest. Once we get acquainted, and I know you are a kind & gentle soul, I will be your loyal companion for life... however; I need a little time to make sure, so please go slow with me when we meet. I am learning to feel safe around other dogs, so it will help if you can help me continue my training in this area. I will probably do best as the only pet for now. I love to play with my toys, go for brisk walks, and curl up under my blanket. I am the perfect combination of active young girl and couch potato. After our fun, I am content to snuggl...

7 Spring January 20, 2013 Ohio
Spring is about 4 years old, and is probably a Beagle/Rat Terrier mix. She's a small slender girl, at around 15 pounds. She is energetic, and loves to run & chase squirrels - but she is also a cuddle bug who likes to curl up next to you or sit on your lap. She enjoys playing with other dogs and seems to be housetrained. She knows sit and shake, and we have discovered she is a good mouser. She also lets me know if anyone is around, and sits in the window to keep watch over the neighborhood. I believe she will be good with all kids, but would be better with kids that are very steady on their legs just in case. If you are interested in Spring, please complete an application at: www.gotbeagles.org

9 Buddy & Molly February 3, 2013 Dallas, TX
Meet Mo Mo Molly and her son Buddy Boy. Molly and Buddy came to rescue in August 2012. Molly was about 1 1/2 and Buddy was just a little boy of about 3-4 months and 6lbs. Someone had put them in a cardboard box in Oklahoma and left them next to a dumpster in triple-digit heat. Then they ended up at the local animal shelter which euthanizes at a high capacity and has no climate control- winter or summer. Molly & Buddy have blossomed since then. Buddy has all of his big boy teeth now and has grown to 16-17 lbs as he is nearing a year old. We think maybe his daddy had some Beagle in him. Molly is a feisty, compact 10 lbs and wouldn't dream of letting Buddy snatch her food or chewie, anymore. They have had all of their vetting done - all shots and spay/neuter and have no medical issues. Although they have both turned into magnetic lap dogs, when they are asked, they will each go into their crate - whether for a few hour...
10 Connie March 9, 2013 Queens, NY
Connie is a 10-year-old, 28 lb Rat Terrier with a very sweet & affectionate personality. She is an expert napper and is great with other animals - both dogs & cats. She has a kidney disorder that requires prescription food (Science Diet K/D - runs about $50 for 18 lbs of food), blood tests every few months and 4-5 walks per day. She is ideally suited for someone who works from home or is retired. She is currently located in Queens (NY), but we are willing to travel anywhere within driving distance to get Connie placed in the right home with a loving companion. For more info or to adopt please contact Colleen at colleen.m.marks@gmail.com or 646-256-9390.
11 Molly March 9, 2013 Blaine, WA
Molly is a 3 year old female/spayed Rat Terrier mix. She weighs 13 pounds. Molly is a typical terrier. She is goofy, silly, full of life and a total clown. She is good with other dogs and lives in a foster home with cats (cats who... don’t take any terrier crap!). Timid cats are not a good choice for some terriers. Molly loves chasing squirrels, playing chuck-it, going on long walks, hikes, practicing her training (she knows sit, down, some, spin, wait and stay); she is crate trained, potty trained and walks well on a leash. she loves toys (ok, she loves to gut toys) like I said... typical terrier. She is looking for a home with no kids and someone who loves the terrier spirit. No couch potatoes please... She is hand to head shy of strangers, but is a total lover and enjoys meeting everyone! For more information, or to adopt, please go to: www.furbabyrescue.com
12 Eli March 12, 2013 Land O Lakes, FL
Eli is a Toy Rat Terrier (about 5 years old) who came to the rescue from a local animal services shelter. He had a broken front leg and was set to be euthanized. His leg has been treated, has healed, and now he is ready to go to his forever home. Eli is a little shy at first, but quickly warms up to everyone. He likes to be held and petted. He also likes to run around and play with his foster dog brothers. Eli also likes to chase and bark at the water coming out of the house. Eli just wants a home that is easy going with an owner who can devote time to playing and doting on him. Eli has had all his vaccinations (Rabies, Bordetella, DDLHPP), tested negative for heartworm, has been neutered, and has a microchip implanted. He has been started on the normal monthly regime of flea, parasite, and heartworm prevention medications. For more information contact: info@floridacocker.org
13 Henry May 5, 2013 Tyler, TX
I'm Henry, and I’m the BEST DOG you will EVER meet. Henry is a sweetheart who has lots of love to share. He loves to snuggle with you at night. He gets along great with other dogs or he would be fine as an only child. If you’re looking for a new forever friend, this boy is waiting just for you! My foster mom hasn't posted much about me because she knows that as soon as word gets out about me, I'll be singing Happy Tails - oh, I mean Trails! You will love EVERYTHING about me! I am house-trained, crate trained, great on a leash, will work for treats. I love other dogs, I am very submissive, and especially love cuddling. I bark when someone new is at the door, and when I'm frisky and playing with my people, but I am generally a quiet sweetie pie! I LOVE to be with my people! I have the sweetest face! I don’t have accidents, don't drool, haven't ever chewed on something that wasn't mine, the trash has no appeal to me, and...
14 Lily May 5, 2013 Houston, TX
Lily gets along with other dogs, not sure about kids or cats. She is very active and likes to play all the time. She is still learning about going to the crates on command. We’re pretty sure she’s spent her entire life in a kennel or crate, so she loves to be outside on the grass. She was rescued from the Bay City Animal Control two weeks ago. Lily's estimated age is 4 to 5 months. Contact: citrudell@hotmail.com; 910-232-4211 (cell)
15 Lizzie May 5, 2013 Hedgesville, WV
Lizzie is 5 years old. she weighs 12 pounds. Lizzie was a "returned adoption" - her elderly owner could no longer care for her. She is housebroken, crate trained, good with other dogs (small dogs preferred), good with cats, good with kids over 12, and has a moderate energy level. Lizzie can by shy with new people, but once she gets to know you she is very sweet and loves to be petted. She is very laid back and calm for the most part, but she does like toys and has her playful moments. She also loves to go for walks and will jump up and down when you get the leash out! She rides well in the car and is good with bath time. Lizzie's adoption fee is $175; this includes her spay, rabies and distemper shot, deworming, and microchipping.
